Description
The MINIKIT+ is packed full of features including voice command operation, A2DP for music and navigation streaming along with an ultra power saving mode which can give you up to 6 months standby time.
Synchronisation with your telephone directory will start automatically the first time you use the Parrot MINIKIT+; you will then find all your contacts in the hands-free kit’s memory.
To place a call, start the voice recognition function by pressing the green button and then say the name of the contact. This feature enables you to make calls without having to scroll through your phone which is quite unsafe (and illegal) whilst on the move.
Receiving calls is also very simple; during an incoming call, the Parrot MINIKIT+ says the name of who is calling; you may then say "accept" or "refuse" when prompted by the Parrot MINIKIT+. One more great feature to help make taking calls safer and easier whilst driving.
The Parrot MINIKIT+'s vibration sensor will switch it into On mode and automatically connect it to your mobile phone as soon as you enter your vehicle. This kind of feature is not widely available and will help increase the battery life of your car kit. Many car kits will have to be switched on manually.
You can browse through the menus using the knob, accept by pressing the green button or cancel the action by pressing the red button.
You may simultaneously connect two phones and receive incoming calls on either one. This is commonly known as multipoint; a feature which is often asked for by anyone looking for a car kit. To add to the multipoint features the kit signals incoming calls using different ring tones, thereby letting you know which telephone is receiving the call.
Thanks to the Bluetooth A2DP audio profile, you can listen to navigation instructions from your smartphone or to your music directly from the Parrot MINIKIT+. A2DP can turn your car kit in to a portable speaker; simply unclip from your sun visor and take it with you.
